The Academy of International Studies is a public 6-12 International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Connecticut offering both the IB Middle Years Programme (grades 6-10) and Diploma Programme (grades 11-12). As an IB World School, we prepare students for the academic challenges of college and provide a competitive edge in the global market. Students experience the world beyond the classroom through international travel and foreign student exchanges. The IB program instills a sense of responsibility, nurturing internationally minded citizens committed to creating a more equitable and peaceful world.
